Radishes & Butter on Toasted Baguettes


medium radishes (about 1 bunch), cleaned, root ends trimmed

tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature

baguette sliced diagonally

Coarse salt and freshly ground pepper


Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Slice chilled radishes thinly. Place slices of baguette in oven on a cookie sheet; toast until crisp and browned. Remove from oven, and cool slightly. Spread butter on toasted baguette; place radish slices on baguette slices and season with salt and pepper.
